I just want to give out sloppy kisses and a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who helped promote The Girls’ Guide to Going Freelance.

Unfortunately, Kris Emery and I are going our separate ways due to creative differences.

However, this experience has inspired me to do something that I think is pretty cool. And since its a project I’m doing on my own… I can personally guarantee that it is happening.

But first things first: Read on for my HUGE list of thanks! Even though the class ultimately fell through, everyone involved deserves a big scoop of love.

Once these beautiful human beings get the recognition they deserve, I’ll make my big announcement.

…And finally share the details about the free gift I’ve been promising you guys! And the LittleZotz Writing update schedule!

That’s right. Strap in. This is a long one.

My guest spot on The Ambitious Entrepreneur will be up later this week. Even though the class I was promoting was no longer around, Annemarie was gracious enough to still have me on as a guest–to promote my own projects–but that means that the link/recording won’t go live until later this week. Until then, feel free to click the banner above to hear some of her other fabulous episodes!

The Fellow Freelancers Who Tirelessly Promoted the Class (for FREE!) Solely Out of the Goodness of Their Hearts:

The Writer's Bucket List | DIY Writing | Dana Sitar

Dana Sitar of The Writer’s Bucket List and DIY Writing went out of her way–for no reason what-so-ever other than she’s awesome!–to continually promote The Girls’ Guide to Going Freelance through blog posts, newsletters, Facebook posts, and Tweets!

HarrisonAmy Copywriting

Much like Dana, the fabulous Amy Harrison took the time to share articles I’d written and Tweet about GGTGF each week!

Ramiro Roman, Jr. – The Artist Behind The Freelance Writer’s ABCs Illustrations:

Sometimes I think more people stopped by to scope out Ramiro’s amazing illustrations than to read my articles! And I’m okay with that. I mean…just look at them!

Y and Z!

Illustrations by Ramiro Roman, Jr.

Ramiro has been doing all of the illustrations for my blog since February of this year. However, most months, he draws 3 illustrations… This time he drew 26! He deserves a huge round of applause!

And, yes; he accepts commissions. (Though most of his “normal” non-LittleZotz.com artwork is horror-based).

EVERYONE ELSE:

I know there are other people out there (friends, family, and complete strangers) who supported this project. I’m sorry I couldn’t mention you all by name, but…THANK YOU!

You’re the best. <3

I am so very grateful for your help. And I’m sure Kris is too. :)

My Big Announcement!

Like I said at the beginning of this post: I was truly crushed when The Girls’ Guide to Going Freelance fell through. And I know many other people were as well. And for that, I am deeply sorry.

I was really excited to be able to teach others what I had learned. I was looking forward to it!

I used to work as an English tutor when I was in high school. And then as a martial arts instructor from 2005-2009. I missed being able to help others learn. To watch as they suddenly “got it” and rushed off to apply their knowledge.

I just didn’t realize how much I missed teaching until it suddenly wasn’t an option.

Sooooooooooo…

*breathes in*

I’m now offering one-on-one mentoring.

That’s my big announcement.

If you, or someone you know, is just starting out as a freelance writer… you can now talk directly to me about it.

It’s a bit more intimate than a six-week course with 25 other people. And there’s only one mentor (me). But this is REALLY happening. And it’s going to be awesome.

My Other Announcement:

Come back Wednesday, Sept. 25th for a special FREE GIFT!

LittleZotz Writing will resume its regular blog update schedule 10/2/13!!
